Is this some sort of melon? Nope. It's a pear. Pears are huge like this in Korea. They're tasty, but expect to pay a couple bucks for one.

I did think that was a melon until I read the message. That is some big pear, are the tastey too! I take it you must have gone to the mountains over the weekend. Beautiful pictures, all of them. Pretty color on the magpie! I just enjoy all the photos you post. I feel like I am seeing things I otherwise would have never seen. GR
