My New Apartment
I moved. Formerly, I was in the Foreign Professors' Apartments. Now I'm in Sang Nam International House (it's four floors of hotel, one floor of rooms for visiting lecturers, and three floors for professors). The pluses:
--It's much much nicer as you can see.
--It's a little bigger.
--The heat actually works.
--It's new and clean.
--It has air conditioning.
--It's quieter.
--It has a better view.
--It has a nice big bed.
--The internet service is faster and more reliable.
The minuses:
--No bath tub. Man that was nice having a bath tub in Korea where no one has one.
--No balcony. I was only on the second floor before, but it was cool going out and reading on my balcony on nice days.
--Rent's not completely free. The other apartment was completely free; this one I have to pay $100 a month for.
So there are a few trade offs, but overall it's much nicer, and I'm much more comfortable here.
