This is my favorite of the Korean foods that we don't have back home. It's called a persimmon in English. Oddly, I learned the Korean name first (Kam), because I had never heard of these before. They are absolutely incredible. It's very sweet in an odd way, but it's very very delicious. Posted by Hello

... But we do have persimmons here (No. Calif, at least). I just bought some at the farmer's market, and a friend of mine is famous for her persimmon cookies.

What I learned from your post is that they exist in Korea!

Yeah, maybe in California (other's have told me that), but in Indiana (where's I'm from), I'd never even heard of one.
