well I, in sharp contrast to Mr. or Ms. "rip a clit", have really enjoyed checking out your pix of the city. The dyed dog thing is a trip. Have you heard any explaination of why they do that(like is it to differentiate them from edible dogs)?I like the bridge sculpture, too--Bendress
No, the dying of the dogs has nothing to do with eating them. I need to post a whole post just on eating dog because it's very complex. The simple version: not all that many Koreans eat dog and those that do only eat one select breed of dog raised just to be eaten.
The dying is really just because dogs in Korea are often a fashion accessory. It's odd, but people that walk their dogs often seem to be showing off. When some people "walk" their dogs, they aren't even really walking them: they carry them. I don't really understand it.

I imagine the dogs have trouble understanding why their ears are dyed pink and their feet flourescent green too.
I don't think that ANYONE understands it, really.
