I finally got a picture of a magpie. These things are everywhere, but VERY hard to get on film. They don't stand still much or take kindly to a person that gets close. They are pretty much like a crow, but with different coloring. Seeing one is good luck in Korea.

That's interesting. Magpies were all over the place in Ireland, too, and the locals told me that seeing one was very BAD luck, especially JUST one(there's an old poem about them that starts "ONE for sorrow..")I like the Korean outlook better,since you're going to see them anyway... Bendress
