A weird bug I caught in my apartment. It moves really fast and flies short distances. It's about the size of my thumb. Weird. 

I took pictures of my apartment when I first got it cleaned up (I wish I had taken some when it was dirty, just for contrast), but this is how it actually looks now that I got the place furnished. This is my kitchen area.

I love the phrase at the top. What sound does vitality make exactly? And what does that have to do with beer? 

I went to a beach on the ocean (right near where I live) and an aquarium with my friend Lauren the other weekend. I forgot my camera, so she let me use her pictures. This is one she took of the beach were we hung out almost all day.

You can't really tell here, but this fish is huge. It's about the size or a large pig.

Ryan's Epiphany

I just had an epiphany. My first months in Korea were a metaphor for my whole life:

The things I wanted were right there, I just didn't know how to ask for them.

My life is still like that now (both literally and figuratively), but things are getting better.
